Firsts. (LEWIS!!!!)

Hal sighed, stepping out in to the rain. Taku followed. "Man, it's fucking freezing out here! Hurry up!" Taku shouted, and Hal looked over at him, shivering. "How can rain be so fuckin' cold...?" He asked, and Taku shrugged.

Monica smiled. changing as slow as possible. She slipped her bloodied leggings off and canged into her new ones. She looked at her shirt (forgot what it's called. :\) and saw blood on that as well. She growled and changed that too.
"Done!" She said sitting down ini her corner, clothing clean and blood free.

Hal and Taku turned round in unison, soaking wet and looking pissed off. They walked back in to the cave,dripping with rainwater. Taku spoke slowly. "Un-fucking-beleviable."

Monica smiled.
"Sorry." She said somewhat sarcastically.

Hal sat down next to the fire, and Taku slumped down on the cave wall. "Now. I'm going to try to get some sleep, now." He said, and Hal nodded. "Me too..." He said, lying down. He instantly fell into a deep sleep. Taku looked over at him, then at Monica. "You know, i think he feels something for you..." He said, quietly. He knew how easy it was to wake Hal, and the general anger that followed.

Monica shook her head. "Doubt it, I'm a monster Taku." She sair and rested her head against the wall. She closed her eyes letting her feelings slip away and sleep take over.

Taku looked over, and shrugged, slumping to the side and going to sleep. Or at least trying.

Monica opened her eyes slowly. The sun blinded her from even inside of the cave. She blinked hard and looked around. Her eyes widened and she screamed.
Another corps way hanging just in front of the cave's mouth. On the wall, the assassin's symbol was written in the dead human's blood.
She backed away into the wall more, trying to lose the image from her mind. she opened her eyes again and the corps was staring at her with dead, lifeless eyes. Blood dripping from its neck. A gaping hole in its chest.

Hal heard the scram, and jumped up, turning round and looking at the body. "Shit..." He said, quietly. Taku looked up. "What the fuck...?" He whispered, then Hal looked round. "Monica...you alright?"

Monica closed her eyes shut again trying to clear the image. She nodded to Hal's question slightly. But the truth was she wasn't alright, she was scared to death. Afraid what they might have done to her or the two brothers while they were all asleep.
"Can we just get out of here please?" She asked her eye lids closed.

"Yeah, sure..." Hal replied, as Taku cut the corpse down, throwing it out to the side. "Let's go."

Monica got to her feet and grabbed her things. she cleared her throat and walked out of the cave.
"i'm sorry for waking you." she said to Hal and Taku. Feeling somewhat weak for being afraid.

"No problem..." Taku said, sympathetically. Hal stood up. "How long has this been going on...?" He asked, then paused. "Never mind..." He said, realising that she might not want to remember.

Monica looked at him. "No, it's fine. This has been happening since i was around five. right after my Father sent me away i spent the night in a cave and the same thing happened. Only there was no corpse, they're new." she cleared her throat. "sorry, me and my father issues."

"Jesus.." Hal whispered. "I'm so sorry..." He said, and his brother looked over at them, listening to them. since she was five...they had to find her father and kill him.

*Kill her? You mean him?*

Monica shook her head. "What's there to be sorry about? You didn't start this." She said walking past them, her emotions running dry, she hated feeling like this, she liked to push her emotions down till she couldn't feel them any more.

*Damn, i feel like an idiot now :L*

Hal sighed, looking down. Taku watched after Monica. "I'll never understand her..." He said, and Hal nodded in agreement.

*Nawh it's okay. I feel that way too sometimes.*

Monica walked on, not sure what to expect. Her gaze traveled around the forest, from tree to tree. All her senses were on full alert, ready to attack anything. “You will never understand me because I will never let you.” She commented to Taku. “I have ears like a wolf remember?”

"Yeah, i remember..." Taku said, sighing. Hal looked through the trees, expecting an attack at any second.

Monica saw something flash out of the corner of her eye and she gripped her sword's handel and turned towards it quickly. she froze where she stood.

Hal stopped, instinctivley drawing two knives. Taku pulled out an axe. Both of them were ready to fight to the death.

Monica looked around the forest. Without warning a Shadow jumpped down from the trees, She turned quickly and then a sharp pain shot from her chest to her back. She froze and looked down. A knife's handel stuck out from between her brest bones. A look of shock and pain swept over her face as she stared into the eyes of the assassin.
It gripped the handel and ripped it from her body. Blood ran down her body and she fell to her knees.

Hal gasped, then growled, running forwards, tackling the shadow. He raised a knife, repeatedly stabbing the shadow in the face. Taku ran to Monica's side, trying desperatley to help her in some way. Hal stabbed away until the shadow's face was nothing but blood, flesh and bone.

Monica couldn't breath. She stared at Taku her hands over the wound. She took a deep breath and blood rushed from her wound quicker.
She winced the pain unbareable. She felt her vision blur and she fell from her knees to her side her hands coated in warm red blood. She gritted her teeth, unable to speak.

"Oh shit..." Taku started, putting pressure on the wound. "Come on, Monica, Damn it! Say something.." He said, thinking what else he could do to help her.
