Firsts. (LEWIS!!!!)

Hal gave her a warm smile. "Well, i guess we'll soon find out.." He said, leaning his head on her shoulder and closing his eyes. "if i fall asleep, wake me up please."

Monica laughed.
"I think i'll fall asleep myself." A yawn escaped her mouth.
"Yep, i'm tired."

Hal sighed, happily. "Taku's genius plan can wait," He said, slowly slipping in to sleep.

Monica rested her head on Hal's chest and fell asleep.

Morning came, and Taku woke up, looking around the cave. Suddenly, Hal and Monica caught his eye, and he smiled, moving quietly so not to disturb them.

Monica opened one eye. The fire had died down, Taku was awake, and she was now listening to the shallow breathing of Hal.
A smile was on her face.
"Morning Taku." she said.

Taku looked round, smiling. "Told you It'd work out..." He said, smiling. Hal stirred slightly, opening his eyes a little bit. "mmmwhat?" he said, slowly, looking down. "oh, hi Monica..." He mumbled, rubbing his eyes.

Monica grinned.
"Hi Hal." She sat up and stretched. Her Red hair flowing on the floor around her. *Damn i wish i had really long hair.*

*I wish i had awesomley epic hair, but it's not happening anytime soon *

Hal smiled at her. "Morning..." He said, then closed hi eyes again, feeling the sunbeams hit his face.

*Nawh.
OMG I felt so fat today in gym.
We were being weighed, and i am like the only girl who works their ass off cause i'm like a work-out junkie and i fuckin' gained weight!!!!*

Monica smiled again. Somewhat speachless. Her face hurt from smiling.

*Could be muscles. Muscles can add weight to you.*

Hal sighed, opening his eyes again. He smiled weakly, stirring again.

*No, i'm just fat.*

Monica watched Hal for a few moments and then streched.
She looked outside of the cave's mouth and gritted her teeth.
Another corps.

Taku looked round. "Oh. Shit." He said, quietly, cutting down the body. "Sorry, Monica..." He said, rolling the corpse away from the hill.

Monica got to her feet and shook her head slightly. Red strands of hair flowing over her face.
"It's fine." she said bluntly, but it wasn't fine. Even with Hal she didn't feel completely safe.

Hal put an arm around her, and Taku looked straight at her, concern flashing in his eyes. "Monica...i know it's not." He said, sympathy in his voice.

Monica shrugged.
"It's fine. I wasn't hurt, Hal and you weren't hurt. No big deal." She said her voice showing giving nothing away.

taku sighed. "Still, we could've stopped it. I know that you hate to see this." He said, then apologised again.

Monica rolled her red eyes.
"I said it was fine. Can we just go now please?" She asked and brushed her hair over her shoulder.

Hal nodded. "ok..." Hesaid, after a while, and Taku strolled out of the cave, sighing.

Monica was a few paces behind Taku. Her eyes staring at her feet.
She had no clue what was going to happen to any of them. She didn't want to keep going, she was afraid of losing Hal for good.

Taku looekd over at Hal. "Tonight we'll try what i said." He said, and Hal nodded. "Sorry about last night. I--" His brother cut him off. "I understand. I'm happy for you."

Monica continued to stare at the ground. Her feet dragging on, with each step she grew more and more anxious.

Hal looekd round. "Something wrong?" He asked monica, worried.

Monica shrugged.
"I don't know." she looked up at the trees, her puples growing till they almost reached the edge of the color of her eye.
She saw a black figure pass by and she blinked. They returned to normal.
"I see them."

Hal pulled out a knife, and Taku reached for his bow. "Where?" taku asked, nocking an arrow to his bow. "I'll drop the little bastard right here.
