Firsts. (LEWIS!!!!)

Monica pointed to the trees where she had seen it.
A black blur ran through the leaves. Sending some floating to the forest floor.

Taku fired an arrow,and it thudded in to something out of view.

there was a long pause.

"I don't think i hit it..." He said, pausing.

Monica felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end and she turned to see the Assassin looking at them through glowing yellow eyes. A shadow casted over its face.
She stared, her body frozen. She knew what it would do. and she had no clue where her sword had gone.

Hal turned, walking towards the shadow siently. the knife twitched in his hand. "Hal....hold on..." Taku said, as the shadow drew a sword holding it ready to strike. Hal waked in front of Monica, and then the shadow stabbed, and Hal went cold, grittitng his teeth. His hand wrapped around the sword, which was impaled through him. He growled, and the shadow let go of the sword. Hal slowly pulled it out, slashing one of the shadow's legs off at the knee and stabbing it, sticking it to the floor. then he staggered, starting to fall backwards.

Monica Gripped Hal in her arms before he could fall.
"Hal!" She felt tears start to form in her eyes.
"No! no no no. Not again. Please no!"

Hal gritted his teeth, looking up. "I'll be fine...." He said, smiling weakly. "This just hurts a lot." taku sighed. "Damn it, bro, you have to be a little bit less reckless."

Monica looked up at taku.
"It's my fault, I could have taken care of myself, but i had to lose my sword again."

Hal shakily got back on both his feet, not stable, but upright. "Damn...it's nobody's fault but mines..." He said, spitting out blood.

Monica looked at him with concern.
"We aren't far from the cave, we should go back. You need to rest Hal."

Hal nodded. "Yeah, that doesn't sound that bad of an idea actually.

Monica grabbed Hal in her arms and walked towards the cave.

Taku sighed. "That brother of mines is an idiot." he said to himself

Monica heard Taku and she nodded. "He is."

*No problem, i'm insane anyhow *

Hal sighed, falling to his knees in the cave. Blood splattered over the floor. "Damn..." he whispered.

Monica gritted her teeth.
"Hal please, try not to die."

*train face is back ^^*

Hal propped himself up on the cave wall. "Ok, i'll try..." He said, smiling weakly.

Monica sat down beside him.
She gripped his hand in hers.

"I've had worse. I did die before." Hal reminded her, smiling.

Monica shook her head.
"I hate seeing it. I don't like seeing oyu in pain, i didn't like seeing you die."

Hal winced slightly. "Yeah, neither did i..." He replied, smiling, and Taku looked over. "You probably could'v avoided making this mess..." He said, referring to the blood.

Monica scoffed.
"Your brother is dying and you're bitching about a mess."

"Yeah, well, there's blood everywhere..." He said, and Hal grinned. "Yeah, well, you know me. Just another scar, i guess." He said, shrugging.

Monica frowned at Taku.
"whatever you cna clean it later." She turned back to Hal, pain in her eyes. she didn't want to see him die. It hurt her.

"Ok, Taku, you carry out the plan." Hal said after a while, and taku nodded. "Yeah, sure."
