opposites attract

Ena let the rounds slam themselves into her chest. She was a demon, it would take a little more than that to kill her. She just smiled. "Oh, dear me." She looked down at the blood all over her shirt. "That's a shame, i liked this shirt." Her eyes flashed green.

Scarlet looked up quickly as the guns were fired.

** I dunno. It'd take a more advanced Manga artist. I dont think i could do it.**

Shadow ducked, throwing Scarlet down with him, and the bullets passed over them. He growled, pulling out another gun.

Taku's eyes widened, and the bullet hit him in the head. He flew backwards, landing on his back, his mouth open in surprise. Blood trickled down from his forehead, and his mouth. Blood began forming a pool around his head, as the blue glow in his eyes died. He lay perfectly still, the rain cleansing his body. His eyes stared off in to nothing, and Shadow looked towards him. "Taku...?" He whispered, then slowly rose to his feet, looking down. A blue glow reflected in the rain at his feet. A NHE pistol lay at his feet, and he flicked it up in to his hand, aiming at Ena without looking up. He pulled the trigger, looking over at his dead brother.

Scarlet couldn't do anything to help, she knew that Bloo would get hurt soon. She closed her eyes and she was staring at bloo from the inside of her house. She could hear the gunshots still and squeezed her eyes shut. "Bloo? are you okay?" She looked down at him his blood was all over her but she could care less.

The bullet grazed along Ena's side. It burned, feeling like it was sizzling off her skin. She growled. The only way she was going out of the world was if she was in Hal's arms. She knew that the assassins were after the Whisperwinds for their powers. Did she care? No.

Shadow stood with his hands in his pockets. "You're going to die here." He said, looking calm. Inside he was in a rage. "I won't show you any remorse."


Bloo looked around. "God damn, this hurts..." He said, after a while, trying to get to his feet. He stumbled, leaning against a wall. His legs began to shake, then he fell to his knees again. "We need to help shadow..." He started, trying to get to his feet again.

A car pulled up behind Shadow, and the driver stepped out, dressed in a pair of jeans and a hoodie, the hood hiding his face. A cross hung from one of his belt buckles, and he pulled out a custom-built gun, with 'goodbye.' Written on the side. "Shadow, this had fucking better be good, i've borrowed Monica's gun, and i bet she won't be happy." He said, raising the gun at Ena's face. "I've modified it to shoot NHE rounds." He said, then sighed, and pulled the trigger.

**Haha. . .Hal's gunna be shot.**

Scarlet stood up and grabbed Bloo letting him lean on her. "No Bloo. You're injured too badly to help." She drug him over to the couch and lay him down. "Please. Promiss me you won't go out there till we know it's safe."

Ena closed her eyes and let the bullet pass through her. She fell to the ground scrapping up the side of her arm. Blood ran down her forehead from the wound and she stared up at Hal with barely a smile on her face.

Redd heard the last shot and flinched. He had been clueless of what had been going on, the yelling and bangs of the guns were too much for him. "What happend? Is it over?"

Hal looked down at Ena. "Heh. you thought you were good enough for me?" He asked, raising the gun to finish Ena off. "Nobody fucks with my family."

The gunshot rung through the street, and Hal sighed. "Let's go." He said, putting the pistol in his pocket. He looked over at Taku. "Damn it..." He whospered, the rain pouring around him. He heard movements coming from behind him, and spun round, pulling out Monica's pistol and aiming with one hand.

Redd heard the click of a gun and he held up his hands. "Whoa whoa whoa! Calm down Whisperwind! Would you really shoot a blind guy? Wait where'd Bloo and Scarlet go?" He switched between conversations quickly.
then the sound of a gunshot rang through the air and he felt a seering pain in the back of his leg. "Fucking Hell!" He shouted blood trickling from the wound.
There were more assassins. Way more than they thought.

"Look out!" Hal shouted to the blind man, then stopped. "I didn't really think that sentence through, did i?" He said, embarrased, then jumped in front of Redd, grinning. "And i thought i'd missed all the action." He said, then got hit with one of the rounds. He froze. "NHE rifles...?" he whispered, his hand going to the wound in his shoulder. "What the f--" A second shot ripped through his leg, and he fell to one knee. "Shadow! Take the blind man and get the fuck outta here!" He shouted, and Shadow grabbed Hal's hand, putting it to Redd's shoulder. He closed his eyes, but at the last second let go. Hal looked around, materializing in Scarlet's home. "Stubborn bastard!" He shouted, punching the floor.

Shadow turned to face the assassins. "I'm not losing another brother." He said, aiming his pistols forwards. That's when the onslaught of bullets started. Shadow ducked, avoiding the first few bullets and cutting down a lot of the assassins with his guns, but then a shot narrowly missed him and he was forced to back up in to a building. He ran through the hallway of the apartment and jumped out a window at the end, landing on a crane. Below the crane was a huge drop, about 500 feet high. A construction site. Great. Shadow saw his opportunity. He could see a gap that no human could clear, between two cranes. He began running down the crane, but when he reached the end a bullet passed through his shoulder. He cut the jump short and, hanging with one hand, managed to shoot a few shots off, killing some assassins. Another rifle fired, and it blew off two of Shadow's fingers. He felt a sickening jolt.





Then his hand slipped.

**WOW! you killed Shadow AGAIN!? is it like your goal to make me fly to scotland and shoot the hell out of you?**

Redd stumbled back feeling carpet between his fingers. "Where the hell- What did you do?!" He yelled at Hal he wasn't sure which direction Hal was at that moment but he was definitely yelling at something.
Scarlet raced into the room Hal and Redd had appeared in. "W-what happened? Where's Shadow!" Her eyes widened and she opened her door only to see a black suited man with his finger on a trigger. The first shot was fired and it ripped through her arm.
Redd got to his feet quickly and without effort caught Scarlet with one hand. He quickly raised his other hand and fire burst from his fingertips engulfing the suited man. He grabbed for the door and shut it tightly. "Shit." That was the only word he had to explain the amount of crap that had been going on.
Scarlet pressed her hand against the gunshot wound and sat next to Bloo. "Alright, this is worse then we thought."
Redd nodded.

**bleck epic fail post**

Shadow fell, blood gushing from his had. He watched the crane fall away, and sighed. Killed by falling. How embarrassing. He thought the falling would never stop. But then it did. Faster than he expected. He wouldn't be expecting much anymore, though.

Hal pulled out Monica's pistol, spinning it round his finger. "We need to find out a way to take these bastards down..." He said, growling. Bloo paused. "wolf's list..." he said, pulling it out. He read the 10 names. "10 men who need to die, he said..."

Red sat on a chair across from Bloo and put his head in his hands. "So you met Wolf too huh? Ena was one on the list I’m sure. Either that or she was just looking for death." He turned his head towards Bloo. The black X's on his eyes were made of tape. Cheaper than sunglasses to keep humans from seeing his eyes. He ran into too many walls and trees broke too many pairs to count.
"You do know they aren’t just after the Whisperwinds."
Scarlet frowned. "Huh? Wait, why are you here again?"
Redd shook his head.

"Well, they've started a fucking war either way." Hal growled. "I lost two brothers today, and I'll see every assassin suffer for that."

The sniper aimed the rifle at Hal's head, smoking a cigarette. "I don't wanna do this...he did nothing to me..." He sighed, taking a drag of the cigarrette. His scope reflected in the light, clearly visible to anyone that might have been watching. "Oh shit..." he whispered, backing away from the rifle.

Scarlet paused for a second. "Where's Monica ,Hal?" She looked to Redd who was just sort of contimplating things.
"Hal she's probably on her way here right now to beat your ass." She found herself laughing then the laughing stopped quickly, that wasn't good.

Redd frowned. "Who's Monica?"
'WHo are you!?" Scarlet yelled. The blind man named Redd was still here sitting in her house, she had no clue who or what he was yet he knew almost everything about her and her family. Including Bloo.

Scarlet froze seeing a gleam of light. she turned around and looked out the window seeing a black clothed man holding a gun.

"Oh shit..." The assassin said, picking up the rifle and taking aim, his hands shaking. He shut his eyes and fired.

The shot slammed through the wall next to scarlet's head. "What the fuck?!" Hal said, jumping to the floor. Bloo pulled out a gun, looking around.

The assassin opened one eye. A miss. "Oh jesus..." He wihispered, dropping the rifle. That was his last shot. He fell to his knees, knowing what would happen next. Hal looked over. "Scarlet! Take him out or we'll all end up dead!" He shouted, reloading Monica's gun.

**Wait. . .Take who out? Redd??**

*The feckin' assassin! lol*

**SORRY! you confuse me sometimes. Sorry i'm kinda hopeless and tired.**

Scarlet grabbed a gun out from under the couch and loaded it quickly. She took aim and squeezed the trigger. The bullet went flying towards the assassin.

Redd jumpped at the loud bang that the gun gave off and soon he heard a ringing in his ears. Jesus are they trying to make me deff too?

The assassin closed his eyes as the bullet ripped through the side of his stomach. He fell back, gritting his teeth and bleeding all over the floor. "FUCK!" He shouted, turning himself around and staggering to his feet. He leaned against the wall, breathing heavily, covered in blood.

Scarlet growled. "Shit!" She clicked the hammer back and shot it three more times. all of which were aimed at main aurteries. One to the heart one to the neck and one just above his knee. All the shots made her ears feel like they were being drilled into.

The assassin threw himself to the ground, a shot scraping his back. "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, STOP SHOOTING ME!" He shouted, then stopped. How the fuck had he avoided those bullets...? Ah, who cares? He was still alive. He risked a quick look out of the window, seeing everything. He wished he hadn't. "Look at all those guns.." He said, nervously.

Hal spat. "For fuck's sake, just close your eyes and get yourself in to that building, Scarlet! You can't miss from an inch away, now, can you?" He said,

The assassin breathed heavily, his wounds stinging like hell. Blood was dripping off of his clothes, as he lit a cigarette, sighing. "What goes around comes around, i guess.." he said, regretting taking this job. "If only i could've taken that shot...but i couldn't take the life of someone i didn't know. It was...wrong...and now i'm gonna die for it." He said, sighing. He took another drag of the cigarette.

Scarlet slammed the gun to the floor and glared at Hal. "Do it your fucking self!" She grabbed a small revolver from her back pocket and shot a bullet to Hal's leg.

Redd Jumped up. "Please dear fucking god no more guns!" He walked towards scarlet and put his hands on her shoulders. "Oi! Scarlet look at me . . . If this is you." Scarlet sighed. "It's me."
Redd nodded. "Ok. Well you really need to end that poor sap’s life. Like . . . Right now."
Scarlet was happy that someone was actually talking in a calm way instead of yelling at her. She nodded and closed her eyes leaving Hal, Bloo, and Redd down at her house.
The revolver was gripped in her hand Bloo's Blood stained her cloths. At that point she probably looked like the craziest bitch on earth. She cocked the hammer back as she towered over the smoking assassin. "Smoking will kill you." She aimed it at his head and shot two bullets straight through his skull.

"AH JESUS!" The assassin, then paused. "Wait, hold on...you just shot me in the head!" He said, feeling the gunshot wound. "what the fuck! I'm freaking out!" He said, jumping up. "what the fuck! What the fuck!" He started shouting, running around in a circle, then stopped. "God damn it, what did i do to deserve this..." He said, falling to his knees. He lit another cigarrette, putting it in to his mouth. "this is fucked up." He said, looking over at Scarlet. "Can you stop shooting me now?" He asked, going over to a bag in the corner. It had his supplies with him. He'd been waiting days for his target, but then this had happened. He pulled out a beanie hat, which he pulled over the bullet wounds. "You know, you didn't HAVE to shoot me..." He said, defensivley.

Hal looked at the assassin. "well, shit." he said, lowering Monica's pistol. "Who would've guessed it?"

Scarlet gritted her teeth ready to shoot again. She aimed and shot once more. "Why the fuck won't you die!" She looked at the cigarette in his mouth and plucked it from his fingers. She threw it on the ground and stomped it out. "Why the hell are you after me? Why the hell is there a blind man claiming that shit-bags like you are after him and Bloo?" She grabbed a pack of bullets specially made to kill things like the Whisperwinds. **Forget what the Bullets are called. teehee**
She loaded them into her gun with a quick movement and aimed for his head again. "Tell me now or I’ll paint pretty pictures all over the pavement with your brains!"
She scared herself.

Redd listened to every word that came out of Scarlet’s mouth. "Jeeze Bloo, your girl sure talks like a real lady." He said sarcastically.

*Poor assassin *

The assassin looked at the gun, and sighed. "You do that. I'd rather die than be trapped in this body. I'm just doing a job. I know nothing." He said, turning back to his bag and pulling out a chrome silver revolver and pointing it at scarlet. "This revolver was custom built. Custom built for killing people like you." He said, then unloaded the revolver. "But i'm not a killer. Your friend...Hal...would be dead, if i didn't have any pity. Any remorse." He said, his face suddenly very serious. "So shoot me."


Bloo looked down at Redd. "Who the fuck are you?" he asked, his trigger finger twitching.

**Nawh he needs a hug! -virtually hugs assassin-**
Redd turned his head towards Bloo "Seriously Bloo, you don't remember me at all?" he felt sad, but at the same time could understand where Bloo had been coming from. "Bloo fit the pieces together. You’re Bloo I’m Redd. You control Water I control Fire." He sighed hoping he wouldn't be shot. He ran his fingers through his light brown hair and shook his head.

Scarlet lowered her gun. "Why would you join them then?" she had some sympathy for this man. When he said that she wished she could roll up in a ball and cry in front of the stranger. She was about to kill someone who was forced into doing this, a man who missed his target on purpose.
