Final stand

Jaxle grinned. "Hm. Let me answer your question with another question. Would it be creepy if I was a bit turned on right now?" He said, laughing.

Piper shook her head.
"Hell no." She wanted to give him a kiss, but the guns scared the shit out of her.

Jaxle paused, seeing the look in her eyes, then laughed, gently takin the gun from her hands and sliding out the magazine. "Can't do any harm with an unloaded gun..." He said, then bent forwards, putting his lips to Piper's and refusing to move.

Bloo paused, then shrugged, walking back upstairs.

Piper smiled slightly and took in the kiss, gently returning it.

Scarlet heard Bloo's footsteps and tried to act normal. She flipped on the sterio, and closed her eyes, listening to Nirvana blast from the speakers.

Monica sneered. She hated music.

*How is it possible to hate music? :O*

Bloo reached the top of the stairs, looking over at scarlet. "You got any funk? Like Parliament, or Tom Browne?" He called out, happily. He liked Nirvana, but you couldn't go wrong with funk.

*I don't know. :\ I hated Music when i was going through Depression.

Scarlet sneered.
"that's gross." she said and pressed a button and the CD switched to All That Remains.

*ATR? well that's not funk xD*

Bloo looked over at Monica questioningly, then shrugged, walking over to the couch and practically falling on to it.

*I know, That's why i'm listening to it right now. i also cant stand much music other than rock/screamo. So neither can Scarlet. *

Scarlet looked over at Bloo with a hallow smile.

"Something up?" He asked, suddenly worried for her.

*really?in that case, do u like ISMFOF? *

*I've only heard like one song by them.

Scarlet looked at him and Shrugged slightly. Not really wanting to talk about it much in front of Monica nad Hal.

Bloo walked over to her. "Is there something you want to tell me?" He asked, quietly, concern flooding his blue eyes.

*How about the clash? u HAVE to like the clash...*

Scarlet looked at Hal, pleeding for help.

*I dont think i've heard of them.

Hal took the hint, standing up. "Hey, Bloo. You got any spare gun parts? I still haven't fixed Monica's pistol." He said, grinning apologetically.

Scarlet looked at Bloo again.
Confused out of her mind at what to say.

Bloo nodded. "Downstairs." He replied to Hal, who stood up and walked towards the basement. "Hey, Jaxle, you down there?" He called.

Jaxle gently pulled away from Piper. "one second." He whispered, then looked up. "Yeah?" He called back, as Hal came down the stairs. "I need some expertise fixing Monica's pistol" He explained, and Jaxle smiled, taking the pistol. He looked at it, and field stripped the gun, looking at the hammer. It's damaged." He said to himself, removing it. He looked over at a box, which had spare gun parts. Upper recievers, hammers, springs. Jaxle picked out a similar hammer from the box, attatching it to the end of Monica's gun. He replaced the slide, and loaded it, firing it down the range. "Well, it works fine now. DON'T throw it around so much, ok?" He said, sternly, giving the gun back to Hal, who grinned. "Ok, i'll try not to."

Monica looked at Scarlet with concern. "I know the feeling Scar. You just need to throw Bloo a few hints, hopefully he'll catch on. Or you could just flat out tell him." She said walking to the couch Scarlet was sitting at and plopped down next to her. "Just cheer up, Men are hopeless." *Yes they are*

Scarlet nodded slightly. "Okay, I’ll try dropping a few signs, and then if that doesn't work I have no clue what to say. I'll think of something."

Piper watched Jaxel fix the gin, somewhat angered at their interruption.

*You think i'm hopeless? *

Hal looked at the gun. "Cheers, Jaxle." He said, going back upstairs. Jaxle turned round, grinning. "now. Where were we?"

I'm saying alot of guys are. . . you kind of were for the past day or so that I was dropping you hints and you weren't picking them up till i had to spell it out for you.*

Piper smiled. She stepped on her tip-toes just so she could reach her lips to his.

Monica nodded slightly.
"I'm worried for Jaxel."
"Because of Piper?" Scarlet wondered if she was thinking the same thing.
Monica nodded. "She's human, and she'll die like all the rest of them."

Hal walked up the stairs, hearing the conversation. "Well, we've got a while to think of a plan." He said, smiling. "She'd suit a pair of spirit's eyes."

Monica looked up at Hal.
"And that would work how? Aren't you born a Spirit?"

"Oh, there must be some way or another..." He said, smiling.

Monica sighed.
"I don't think Jaxel would aprove. I don't think she'd aprove."

Scarlet nodded slightly.
"If i call up Pavle, i'm sure that he knows an easier way."

Hal nodded. "Yeah, that looks like our best option right now..."

Scarlet nodded slightly. She rummaged in her pocket and fished out her mobile.
She punched in some numbers and raised the phone to her ear.
"Hello?" came a scratchy low voice.
"Hey, Pavle, It's Scarlet."
There was a pause.
"Oh! Scarlet, hi. Why'd you call at this time? You know i sleep during the day."
"Yeah sorry."
There was another Pause.
"I need some help."
"With what?" Pavel asked
"A Human."
"You need them dead or. . ."
"One of the Spirits i know fell in love with a Human, and we're all a bit concerned he'll off himself when he realises She'll die from age."
Pavle took a deep breath in and let out a sigh. "Come 'round at dusk. I'll see what i can do."
Scarlet smiled. "Thanks man."
Scarlet hung up and looked at Monnica and the rest of them. "Hopefully we'll get some help from him."
Monica raised an eyebrow. "Who is he?"
"Kaki's brother." Scarlet replied. And Monica remembered in the Laberiynth, Kaki had an unusual fancy for her.

Hal nodded. "We'll come to a solution one way or another." He said

Downstairs, Jaxle smiled. "you wanna go back up?" He asked, unloading his pistols.
